Bret Michaels’ Health Condition

Bret Michaels was the subject of Larry King Live as celebrities like Donald Trump Jr evaluate on Michaels’ health condition. Because of his severe condition, Bret Michaels will continue to be confined in unnamed hospital’s intensive care unit. He is in critical condition but according to his doctors, he is in stable condition. Last night, Larry King Live with Bret Michaels was the subject of the episode as Daryl Strawberry, Donald Trump Jr., Carlos Diaz and Sanjay Gupta discuss about the effect of this incident to Michaels life as well as their say about him as a person. Strawberry, who played on Celebrity Apprentice with Michaels, said he was her good friend on and off camera. He is a hard worker and is a creative force in the series. Undoubtedly, he saw a crazy life and wished him a speedy recovery. Donald Trump Jr. said that Bret is a very nice guy to the ground and a strong person. He told everyone that he have had the best kind of relationship with him off camera during the three years. Trump Jr. also said he is a grandfather and rock singers and concerned about his health. A radio host and entertainment correspondent, Carlos Diaz, said Michaels is a star who transcends generations. He was able to reinvent his career, both Rock of Love and Celebrity Apprentice and his music. CNN’s chief medical correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta said subarachnoid hemorrhage is an aneurysm in a blood vessel. He said about 10 percent of people do not survive. It is obvious that survived that. About a quarter of people will not make it through the first couple of days in hospital and 30 percent complete recovery.

Michaels medical workup revealed the results of SAH, the type of stroke that causes bleeding in fluid-filled spaces around the base of the brain. It appears as a voice suddenly hard hit or a lightning strike the back of the skull, causing severe head pain and muscle spasms. Many speculate Michaels suffered a concussion during the Tony Awards last June and is the reason. Further studies are planned during the week hopefully identify the cause of the break. Coupled with the fact that Michaels is a life with type 1 diabetes and underwent emergency appendectomy surgery on tour in San Antonio, they continue to monitor his medical team to ensure that none of complications of diabetes.

The most common reason of this ailment is an unprompted rupture of a cerebral aneurysm, but 15-20 percent of episodes of spontaneous bleeding seem to have this event. Michaels has been a continuous series of trials while in the intensive care unit, including angiography, CT, MRI and transcranial Doppler (TCD). Doctors affirm that Michaels is still very lucky, because his condition could have been fatal. With additional testing and rehabilitation, they hope that Michaels will gradually improve as the blood in the brain dissolved and reabsorbed into the system, which may be recovering very painful and take several weeks to several months. Michaels is still under observation for 24 hours inside the intensive care unit with a positive spirit. He responds well to the tests and treatments. Even today, there was a slight delay doctor remain strong and hopeful for his full recovery. They plan on providing more specific information on Monday.
